If you have been wrongly convicted of a crime,  there are critical time limitations for filing an appeal.  An appeal is a request to a higher court to review a decision following a trial or an administrative hearing.  It is not unusual for trial judges to make some errors in criminal procedure, admission of evidence, jury instruction, sentencing, etc.  Unfortunately, not all errors are susceptible to review and/or remedy through the appellate process.  Seth P.
